When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically collects technical access data (server log files), e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser and operating system used, and the referring page. This processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure and functional operation of the website. This data is not combined with other data sources.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

This website does not use cookies or any third-party analytics or tracking tools. No language preference is stored in local storage any more — each language version is now its own independent, static page.

4. Automatic Language Detection

When the homepage is accessed without a language path (e.g. hansa-ventures.eu), the visitor's IP address is sent to the geolocation service ipapi.co (ipapi.co, USA) in order to approximately determine the country of access and automatically redirect to the matching language version. No cookies are set in this process; we do not store or evaluate this data ourselves. Processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in providing a user-friendly, multilingual website. If the service is unavailable, your browser's language setting is used instead. If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of the inquiry) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
